EXPEDITION J TRAILER

The expedition J trailer is made to haul all your gear wherever you go.  The EX-J trailer is well suited for extended overland camping trips being pulled by mid to small size truck and suv's.  This trailer has tackled the hardest of trails from the Rubicon to Dusy Ershim and every desert inbetween.  

THERE ARE NO CANS MOUNTED ON THE EXTERIOR TO BE SMASH BY A TREE, HILLSIDE OR A ROCK.  

The main cargo area measures 44.5 inches wide x 65 inches long. The side rails are 9 inches high.  The main roll bars are 29.5 inches above the deck.  The roll bars are there to protect the trailer from tree branches, off camber hill sides, and possible rollover damage.  The spare tire is mounted on the front for tongue weight.

The deck is marine grade plywood. 

The fenders are 13 gauge steel and are great for cooking or for a work bench when doing field repairs.  The fenders can be made to fold up for extreem off roading.(Additional charge)

The axles are custom made to each trailer.  Most bolt patters are available.  Gas charged monotube shocks included.  Other shock models are available also.

 All are equipped with trailer brakes.

Rims and tires may be purchased separetly though PB FAB or supplied prior to the start of the trailer construction.  

The tailgate folds down and measures 43.5 x 24 inches.

The tongue is 2 inch .250 wall receiver tubing and inserts into 2.5 inch .250 wall receiver tubing.  The 2.5 inch tubing runs the full length of the trailer.  The 2.0 tongue is removable and can be inserted though the rear to aid in trailer, vehical extraction.  The 2.0 tube can also be stored in the 2.5 when trailer is not in use.

Trailer is supplied with a standard 2.0 ball hitch. Trailer will accept pintle hitches or any multi-axis hitch, sold separately.

Trailers are rated at 2000 gvw.  Axles range from 3500 lbs. to 6000lbs. and tongue weight ratings are 200lbs., 3500 pull.

Base Price - $3750.00  4 to 8 week build time.

EX-L

EXPEDITION LARGE TRAILER

The expedition trailer is made to haul all your gear wherever you go.  The EX-L trailer is well suited for extended overland camping trips being pulled by full to mid size truck and suv's.  The large front storage section area is large enough to hold 2 nato size jerry cans and a 36 inch spare tire.  This front section is protected by .126 inch thick DOM steel tubing.

THERE ARE NO CANS MOUNTED ON THE EXTERIOR TO BE SMASH BY A TREE, HILLSIDE OR A ROCK.  

The main cargo area measures 48 inches wide x 78 inches long. The side rails are 12 inches high. The tent crossbars are at 36 inches up from the deck and the main roll bars are 12 inches above the tent mount bars.  The roll bars are there to protect the tent from tree branches, off camber hill sides, and possible rollover damage.  The spare tire can be raised to transport 48 x 96 inch sheets of plywood.
